The OPC Foundation is dedicated to ensuring interoperability in automation by creating and maintaining open specifications that standardize the communication of acquired process data, alarm and event records, historical data, and batch data to multi-vendor enterprise systems and between production devices. Production devices include sensors, instruments, PLCs, RTUs, DCSs, HMIs, historians, trending subsystems, alarm subsystems, and more as used in the process industry, manufacturing, and in acquiring and transporting oil, gas, & minerals.

Open Industry 4.0 Alliance is a global network of 80+ Industry 4.0 players committed to using existing standards and fostering interoperability. ISPE

Selected employees of inmation are members of ISPE and contribute to the Plug and Produce activities. ISPE is committed to the advancement of the educational and technical efficiency of its members through forums for the exchange of ideas and practical experience.

ISPE lead and facilitate the development of next generation process technologies and innovative technical solutions. On matters of regulation, the focus is on those requirements that impact — or will impact — the licensing of facilities, manufacturing processes and operations, and the sustainability of the supply chain over the product lifecycle. ISPE provides a neutral environment where individual members and experts belonging to Regulatory Authorities can engage in open dialogue on issues that will ultimately benefit patients around the world.
